We provide verifiable evidence in accordance with the current standards of the Consejo Mexicano para la Acreditación de la Educación Médica (Mexican Council for the Accreditation of Medical Education), COMAEM.
OUR OFFER
UNDERGRADUATE INTERNSHIP
12 MONTHS ROTATIONS
Including 6 medical specialties:
pediatrics, surgery, gynecology and
obstetrics, family medicine, internal
medicine, and emergency medicine.
Each rotation lasts 2 months and
includes 1-on-1 tutoring by physicians
certified by the Texas Medical Board.
CLINICAL PRACTICE
We participate with an average of 80 hours
of clinical exposure per month, including an
in-house on-call schedule.
4 WEEKS PROGRAM
4 WEEKS ROTATION
Including 1 medical specialty, with 1-on-1
tutorial support from physicians certified
by the Texas Medical Board.
CLINICAL PRACTICE
We participate with an average of 80 hours
of clinical exposure per month, including an
in-house on-call schedule.
PARTIAL INTERNSHIP
CLINICAL ROTATIONS BASED ON THE SPECIALTIES REQUIRED BY THE MEXICAN UNDERGRADUATE INTERNSHIP STANDARDS
We offer rotations with a minimum duration
of 4 weeks, and a maximum based on the
educational requirements of each
participant’s home hospital or university.
Each rotation includes personalized 1-on-1
tutoring by physicians certified by the Texas
Medical Board.
CLINICAL PRACTICE
We participate with an average of 80 hours
of clinical exposure per month, including an
in-house on-call schedule.
SOCIAL SERVICE
12 MONTHS ROTATIONS
The rotation includes 3 medical
specialties in the first semester; and 1
specialty for the second semester
chosen by the participant. Each rotation
includes 1-on-1 tutorial support from
physicians certified by the Texas Medical
Board.
INTERACTION WITH MEXICAN MIGRANT POPULATION
There is continuous interaction with the
Mexican migrant population, through our
alliance with the Consulate General of
Mexico in Houston.
RESEARCH PROTOCOL
A Research Protocol is prepared with the topic
at the student's request, according to the
rotation of the last semester in which he/she
participates. Advice is provided by a tutor
physician.
